Meet our Eastside Family

Brian K. Few, MD, FAAP
Clemson University 1993, B.S. Microbiology
School of Medicine, University of South Carolina 1997, MD

A native of Greenville, Brian Few is a graduate of Blue Ridge High School, Clemson University with a BS in Microbiology, and The University of South Carolina School of Medicine.  After medical school, he completed his Pediatric Residency at Greenville Memorial Hospital.  “I knew then that I enjoyed forming relationships with and assisting parents with the care of their children and founded the practice in July 2000.”

Dr. Few and his wife Jessica have 2 daughters, Annelise and Emmaline. When not spending time with his family, he enjoys shark fishing, water sports, and marksmanship. He is also involved in medical missions. 

Carolyn G. Schultz, MD, FAAP
Wofford University 1995, B.S.
Medical University of South Carolina 1999, MD

A native of Charleston, SC, Carolyn Schultz is a graduate of Irmo High School, Wofford College, and The Medical University of South Carolina.  After completing a Pediatric Residency at Greenville Hospital, she joined Eastside Pediatrics in 2002 with a mission to give compassionate continuity to her patients.  Seventeen years later, “I still love my work.  Caring for children as they grow up and nurturing families is very rewarding.”  Dr. Schultz has a special interest in toddler nutrition, multiple births, allergic illness and behavioral development.  She and her husband, Bobby, enjoy spending time with their three teenage children and traveling.

Roy A. Mages, MD, FAAP
University of Tennessee 2007, B.S. Chemistry
School of Medicine, University of Tennessee 2001, MD

Roy Mages joined Eastside Pediatrics in 2004 after completing his pediatric residency with Greenville Hospital System.  Prior to this, he earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and his medical degree from the University of Tennessee at Memphis.  He is board certified in pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Though Dr. Mages enjoys taking care of children of all ages, he has a special interest in the growth and development of newborns/infants and the special care they require.

Dr. Mages is originally from eastern Tennessee.  He was born in Knoxville and has lived in Chattanooga, where he met his wife.  They have 2 children – Emily and David. When not in the office he enjoys spending time with his family, CrossFit, hiking, and doing home improvement projects.

Tabitha M. Randol, MD, FAAP
Kennesaw State University 1997, BS
Medical College of Georgia 2004

Tabitha Randol grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and went to Kennesaw State University and received her BS in Biology. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. She did her residency in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Greenville Memorial Hospital and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She joined Eastside Pediatrics in 2007.

“I knew I wanted to be a pediatrician since I was 8 years old when I found myself in the Emergency Room with a broken arm.  Although it was a painful experience, I was so thankful for the doctor who took care of me that I knew that I wanted to help children too.” Once she moved to Greenville, she fell in love with the city and people and knew this is where she wanted to stay and raise her family.  She has 3 children who help make practicing pediatrics a real-life experience.  Her areas of interest are newborns, breastfeeding, and adolescent medicine.

Jeffrey M. Phillips, MD, FAAP
Presbyterian College 1995, B.S.
Medical University of South Carolina 1999

Jeffrey Phillips was born and raised here in Greenville.  He graduated from Greenville High School in 1991, Presbyterian college in 1995, and MUSC, Charleston in 1999.  After medical school, he completed a Pediatric Residency in Chattanooga, TN and was Chief Pediatric Resident from 2002 to 2003.  His wife and him chose to serve a rural community for 4 years and first practiced in Blue Ridge, Georgia.  In 2007, they moved back to Greenville to be closer to family, and he has been at Eastside Pediatrics since returning home. 

Dr. Phillips and his wife have two children, and are members of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. “Over the past 20 years, I have enjoyed practicing family centered well child care and building strong, lasting relationships with the families I serve.”
